From the first hour until legislation, we have worked together with our cooperation partners to advance the development of future-oriented electrolytic ballast water purification for pollutant reduction. The ballast water in the ships, which serves for the stability of the ships, contains microorganisms. In order to avoid the negative influence of unfiltered discharge of the polluted water on the ecosystems, the ballast water is first electrolytically treated with the aid of our rectifiers. This process neutralises the organisms, allowing the water to be treated ecologically and returned to the sea in an environmentally friendly manner.
